Each spoon-rest is made to fit on your stove or counter but also with a loop to hang on the wall. (hanging loop included).

Hand-built on a bisque mold with slab, coil. I plan my decoration by setting up an interconnected relationship where form and surface respond to each other. After the piece is bisqued I mask, inlay and fill with multiple cone six glazes considering the melt and the sheen for a subtle inviting surface.

Once the hanging loop is removed, then the plate can be microwaved, washed in the dish-washer.
